Ways to Serve

Ways to Serve

We believe the church is healthy when all members are actively involved (Romans 12:4-8).  Please contact Casey McCormick or another ministry leader to see where your talents and gifts can be used.

Below is a list of volunteer opportunities at MPCC.

Hospitality Team

This important ministry is led by Wyatt Waterkotte.  Volunteers in this ministry welcome people into the building, guiding them where to go and making them comfortable.  There is always more room for people to get involved in this ministry.

Missions Team

The missions team meets monthly and is led by Rob Pal.  Members of the missions team stay in contact with missionaries that the church supports.  They also plan new ways for our church to reach out with Christ's love to our community and world.

Facilities Team

If you want to serve the church by maintaining the facilities, please contact Marc Werts about getting involved.

Nursery Volunteers

We are looking for volunteers to serve in the nursery ministry on Sunday mornings.  Please call the church office if you are interested in working in this ministry.

Cleaning the Building

Our church is cleaned and maintained by volunteers.  As our facility has grown, so has our need for new volunteers.  Let us know if this is an area you would like to serve.

Audio Technicians

We are looking for more people on the rotation to run the soundboard during the worship service.  If you have experience or interest in this area, please contact the worship minister, Ellie Koranek.

Musicians and Singers

There is always room for more instrumentalists and vocalists in the worship ministry.

Big Wednesday

Big Wednesday is a high-energy preschool through fifth-grade program that meets from 6:00-7:30 pm during the school year.  Nearly 100 children and dozens of adults are involved in this ministry.  If this is a ministry you would like to help with, please contact Rob or Jill Siebert.

Creative Arts

Have a talent for the arts? Like to act? Like to paint? Like interior design? Like anything else artsy? If so, you should sign up for the Creative Arts team. Contact Ellie Koranek for more info.
