Every Sunday morning, we meet to hear the Bible preached and respond through worship. Our 8:00 a.m. & 10:30 a.m. worship service is led by a band playing contemporary and traditional songs and meets in the sanctuary (115 North Washington St.). At MPCC, we observe Communion every Sunday, and you are invited to participate if you are a follower of Christ.
At 9:00-9:30 a.m., we have a fellowship time in the family life center with coffee, donuts, and juice available. Sunday school is for all ages from 9:30-10:15 a.m. Adult Sunday School Classes meet in the sanctuary building. Children's classes from 2 yrs. Old to High School, meet upstairs in the FLC. Please call the church office at 217-792-5417 for a list of available classes. At the 10:30 a.m. service, we also have a nursery for birth - 3 years old and a kid's church for 4 yrs. old - 5th grade that meets downstairs in the great room of the FLC.
Our facilities include two separate buildings, divided by an alley. The original facility faces Washington Street and contains the sanctuary, staff offices, and basement fellowship hall. The Family Life Center (FLC) building faces Lafayette Street and includes a gym-sized multi-purpose room, kitchen, dining room, and conference room on the ground level and ten classrooms on the second floor.
